Using the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, the Alsatian manufacturer appears to be one of the fastest car manufacturers in the world. The race also dreams of mass production of race cars that can accelerate to or even exceed 500 km / h. But with the development of the electric car, these high-speed races could come to an end soon.
Bugatti, always fast
It is undoubtedly one of the fastest cars in the world. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport with its 1,600 horsepower shows a speed of 490 km / h, during official trials. A series of 30 models capable of reaching 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.3 seconds and crossing the 300 km per hour in just 12.1 seconds has been released.

3.9 million euros
. The new race car adopts the Chiron Super Sport 300+ design with a long tail while modifying the code slightly. Thus, we see the appearance of rims and new designs, corresponding to very high speeds. The passenger compartment preserves all the luxury and comfort of the elegant sedan. However, the models offered for sale will be limited to 440 km / h for reasons of safety and accountability of the organization.
Cars at 500 km / h
Not all developers are equally careful when it comes to security. As proof, the future Venom F5 from Texan Hennessey Performance Engineering should exceed 499 km / h. The first video published last March showed exceptional performance with a top speed of 435 km / h. The manufacturer intends to fulfill its promises and earn around 500 km / h.
About a dozen models are offered for sale
1.8 million euros
. 12 more will follow after additional tests.
Another great high-end car is the Jesko from manufacturer Koenigsegg. A 1650 horsepower Megacar with a speed that can reach or even exceed 500 km / h, according to computer estimates. Swedish manufacturer repairs his car, it is available soon for sale
$ 2.8 million
Slow cars in the future?
But where will this speed race reach? It can end with ongoing models with this for a number of reasons. First of all, it is impossible for most buyers to push these vehicles on the road at a speed of more than 400 kilometers per hour without causing an accident. In addition, these cars sometimes become, as is the case with Bugatti, the latest fuel models developed by the manufacturers. The electronic models that the entire automotive industry is currently looking at are slow. The fastest electric car in the world so far is the Rimac C Two. It can still go up to 400 km / h.
