Volkswagen has released a new teaser for its upcoming electric sedan concept, which is expected to launch in China in the second half of 2023, heading to the North American and European markets before the end of the year. Called the ID.Aero, it will be officially unveiled on June 27.

The car will be built on the German automaker’s MEB platform, and its exterior design is influenced by other Volkswagen electric models, such as the ID.4 and ID.Buzz.

The drawing shows that the concept has a well-designed LED taillight array that includes a full-width bar. Its windows are separated by silver pillars, there are no handles and the model has large silver wheels.

According to Volkswagen, the ID.Aero concept has a length of 5 meters – being larger than the Passat and BMW Series 5. autonomy of up to 700 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.

The production model should be offered with rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, with the same electric motors as the rest of the lineup.
