This Friday, shortly before 7 pm, an Opel brand car caught fire at the exit of the A36 Miserey-Salines, in Besançon. According to the police who were present at the scene, the car left the highway with smoke already coming from the engine. Once parked in front of the shopping area, the driver opened the hood to check, and released a draft that finally started the engine. Then the car caught fire.
This incident, which would have been mechanical in nature, damaged a second Ford car that was parked nearby. Very quickly, firefighters managed to put out the fire. By 7:45 pm, the traffic, which was a little disrupted, had returned to normal. Several men were immediately mobilized by a one-ton pump truck.
