Belgium: 50% of new BMWs put into circulation are electric!

For the first time in its history, BMW Belgium presented in August 50% of cars equipped with an electric motor. In other words, half of the new BMWs delivered last month in our Kingdom were plug-in hybrids or 100% electric. An important step for the German manufacturer that shows that Belgium is now ready to invest in more sustainable mobility, whether privately or professionally.

More precisely, 32.4% of vehicles introduced were plug-in hybrids (PHEV) while 16.9% were fully electric.

Effective frequency

The propeller-driven brand attributes this success to the popularity of its iX3, iX and i4 even though, today, its range includes plug-in hybrid and/or 100% electric versions for almost all models. A well-stocked catalog that has positioned the manufacturer well in the rental market where, in most cases, we now have to choose hybrid or even electric engines, because of the tax benefits associated with them.
