This time we tested Porsche’s updated SUV for a week. Going beyond the new bumpers, steering wheel and center console, the entry-level Macan already has a lot to show for it. By the way, show no. The Macan is built on the Audi Q5 platform and has recently received new headlights and now new bumpers with a more robust appearance. During our test conducted between the cities of São Paulo, Campinas, Artur Nogueira, Indaiatuba, Itu and São Roque over a period of four days, we were able to test its main characteristics in the natural habitat of the Macanese. With 0-100km/h in the six-second range, the Porsche Macan is adept at acceleration as well as handling. The difference between the driving modes and the response of the suspension, steering and acceleration is noticeable. Therefore, consumption also changes a lot.

We also tested the DRIVE MODE using a button on the steering wheel that produces different levels of noise. At its most fun, accelerating from a standstill, the Macan is guaranteed to be fun. Using the comfortable mode with moderate response, the Porsche Macan showed a run of 10 km/l on the highway while in the city the best mark was 8 km/l.
