Audi is launching a startup support program to build a digital ecosystem and improve the driver experience

In collaboration with Techstars startups, Audi Denkwerkstatt is launching a new program for early-stage startups and future innovators, with one goal: to build a customer-oriented, car-centric digital platform. The purpose of this program is to support and encourage founders as well as early stage startups as they prepare more quickly for the market and digital business models related to mobility in a highly competitive environment. Founders can apply from 1 August and startups from 26 September 2022.

Through “Vorsprung 2030”, Audi presented a clear strategy for the company’s electric and digital transformation, which includes the experience of electric car charging, global mobility concepts, connecting consumers to each other, as well as digital services inside and outside. out of the car. The goal is to improve the mobility experience of users.

Founders and entrepreneurs who want to dedicate their entrepreneurial talent to finding promising solutions in the fields of digitalization and mobility can apply to two programs. Those interested in learning more can find information about the application and selection process for the early accelerator program starting August 1, 2022, as well as the accelerator program starting September 26, 2022, on the website from Techstars.

The program consists of two three-month phases, which build on each other: a pre-acceleration program, which is aimed at individual founders, and an acceleration program, which is designed for early stage startups. In the pre-acceleration phase, Audi Denkwerkstatt and Techstars together support participants in creating a promising idea and building the right team. The program also includes a series of master classes, mentoring, and pitch training for founders, who will gain access to an international network of entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors upon joining. Participants will be connected to each other so they can assemble their best startup teams.

Diversity is an important part of the program to develop the greatest potential for innovation. Therefore, the entire program targets founders and start-up teams of all nationalities with different skill sets, as well as all academic and professional backgrounds. In evaluating software founders, technical expertise, and a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a high level of motivation and internal creativity, play an equal role. Courage and team spirit are also important. As a melting pot of the European startup community, Berlin offers the best conditions for program implementation.

“Audi Denkwerkstatt drives the innovation of digital business models at Audi. Our goal is to develop customer-centric innovations quickly and efficiently, and then make them ready for the market. With Techstars on our side as a strong partner, we open ourselves to the creative community outside and more interesting business ideas.
