A 21-year-old boy died after being hit by a car on Thursday, around 7 pm, on PRC-158, in Chopinzinho. Douglas Milani was hit by a Volvo truck, plates from Chopinzinho, driven by Leomar José de Oliveira, aged 31.
Samu was called to attend to the young man, but when he arrived at the scene, he found that he had already died. The event was also attended by the State Highway Police (PRE). An expert from the Institute of Crime investigated the hit and run and Douglas’ body was sent for an autopsy at the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Pato Branco.
Another fatal accident happened Thursday night on PR-182, in Realza. The collision involved a Honda motorcycle, driven by Cleiton Junior Chagas, age 18, and a Ford/Ranger truck, driven by Sérgio Zilio, age 54. The motorcycle driver sustained serious injuries and the truck driver suffered minor injuries, all were taken for treatment.
Another collision was recorded on Thursday night on the PR-182, in Ampére. The accident involved a Volvo truck, Palmas plates, driven by Vandrigo Oliveira Santos, 29, and a Fiat/Strada van, driven by Mateus Madey Rottava, 22, who suffered minor injuries and was sent for treatment.
