Erick Adame, a meteorologist at US station Spectrum News NY1, claims he was fired after an unknown person took screenshots of him naked on a pornographic website and sent them to his boss.

Adame published an open letter on his Instagram profile, this Monday, 19, in which he says he was suspended and then fired because of the show “on a webcam to other men”.

“Despite being a celebrity and being on television in the nation’s largest market, in front of millions of people five days a week for more than a decade and a half, I secretly appeared on an adult Internet site. I released my compulsive behaviors while at home, acting on a webcam for other men. It was 100% consensual on both sides. I wasn’t paid for this, and it was ridiculous to think I could keep it private. However, my employer found out; and I was suspended and then fired,” he says.
