The first 100% electric model from the Martorell manufacturer, the Cupra Born, is now available to order in the 230 hp VZ version with a 77 kWh battery guaranteeing 550 km of autonomy.
The most muscular version of the Cupra Born, this VZ version (for “Veloz”: “fast” in Spanish), has e-Boost that allows the Cupra Born to benefit from a power of 230 hp (170 kW). / 310 Nm , that is 26 hp more than the Cupra Born V model. Therefore the Born VZ model can reduce 0 to 50 km/h in 2.8 seconds and complete 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds, a performance supported by DCC Sport. systems (controlled damping) and the connectable Sport ESC.
129 km of extra range thanks to the XL battery
The Cupra Born VZ was offered until now with the same 58 kWh battery as that fitted to the Born V model, guaranteeing these two vehicles respectively 421 km and 426 km of autonomy in the WLTP cycle. Thanks to the new 77 kWh XL battery introduced in its catalog by the Martorell manufacturer, the Cupra Born VZ can now travel 550 kilometers on a single charge.
For the record, customers opting for the Cupra Born VZ model will also get larger front brakes (340 x 27 mm), 19-inch rims, a Cupra steering wheel with satellite buttons, and tinted rear windows.
The Cupra Born VZ with XL battery is now available to order. It is available from €46,500 (not including the ecological bonus), i.e. €2,510 more than the version with a 58 kWh battery. For those who prefer to rent to buy, a long-term lease from €399/month with a contribution of €5,350 (€6,000 of ecological bonuses already deducted) is finally also offered by Cupra.
