The Ford Bronco Sport got more power and torque on the 2022 lineup. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine got the same tuning offered on the Maverick and develops 253 hp at 5,500 rpm, while the torque is 38.7 mkgf at 3,000 rpm. Despite the changes, the list price was set at R$ 266,090 for the Wildtrak version, the only version available in Brazil.

The new power means an increase of 13 hp compared to the previous model line launched here in May 2021. According to Ford, the engine has received adjustments in calibration, valve control and electronic fuel pump mode. The set is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Apart from the technical improvements, the new SUV range has four color options as new. They are Aurora red, Batu brown, Dover gray and Indianapolis blue. Now, in all, the model is available in 11 colors. All are accompanied by a black finish on the roof and pillars.
Regarding serial items, there is no change. The Ford Bronco has all-wheel drive, a rear differential lock, adaptive cruise control, an emergency braking system with pedestrian detection, as well as seven driving modes and trail-compatible cruise control.
The Mexican-imported SUV also comes with 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, nine airbags, LED headlights with automatic high beam, a B&O sound system, a cell phone charger and heated leather front seats. .
The Ford Bronco had 438 units sold in the first four months of 2022, according to data from Fenabrave, a trade association.
