2021 Audi s3 sedan: the chic sports sedan

For his 4 wivese generation, the compact A3 is again available in two body variants with the 5-door Sportback and Sedan. At 16 cm longer than the Sportback, the Sedan offers a unique design with an upper water column in a circular column that falls into a small boot trunk and reduced overhangs.

In this red accented with a black SingleFrame grille, carbon fiber inserts and two-tone Audi Sport 19-inch rims, the S3 Sedan shows off its transformation.

Game at a high price

A competitor to the BMW M135i and the Mercedes-AMG A35, the new Audi S3 is an example of the brand’s access to the world of sports and rings. To qualify, you have to take euros because a good German compact sedan is not cheap, especially since the ecological malus also goes to the cash register (€ 5,105 to 6,375 depending on equipment).

It is more expensive than its competitors and by drawing from the list of options, the final price rises, but nothing is missing and this S3 presents the whole image of a chic sports car with a lot of equipment and Matrix LED lights, low body, carbon. spoiler, rear diffuser, panoramic glass roof or even S sports seats.

It’s not just a high street foodie

Under the hood, there is a TFSi 4-cylinder 2-liter turbo that now develops 310 hp, as in the S3 of 2016, an advantage of 10 hp compared to the previous generation, with 400 Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a 7-speed S tronic automatic gearbox and a Haldex Quattro-type all-wheel drive.

On the road, the S3 Sedan is not just a highway eater. Due to its good balance for its all-wheel drive, it is especially comfortable on small roads. The sharp chassis offers an unyielding character with a front axle that is carved into its trajectory and a rear axle that is more playful when Sport Mode is activated and that leaves more mobility.

The new S3 sedan is not intended to be as aggressive as the RS3 that will arrive in early 2022. Dynamic in terms of quality, it combines smooth lines and a sporty feel in a refined Premium atmosphere.
