During the test we did in the province of Palencia, we first took the hybrid model on a twisty road on the way to Ampudia de Campos (a city that has just been included in the list of the most beautiful cities. in Spain). The assistance in sharp curves on narrow country roads and uneven terrain brings greater safety to the driver.
When traveling on the highway or the steep slopes of the Castilian highlands, driving aids make the driver’s life easier. This happens especially when you face the radar of the longest section in Spain, the one located in the Corridor of Carrión (Palencia) of 33 km with a maximum speed of 90 km/h. An endless straight line where the cruise control is your best friend to avoid ending up with a fine.
The braking system of the Alfa Romeo Tonale stands out for its level of safety and its technical development, combining stability control and braking power in the same system. In the hybrid versions, the IBS technology is electronically coordinated with the regenerative braking, which allows to increase the electric freedom.
